Biometrics is the science of measuring and analyzing biological data.  In the IT world, biometrics refers to technologies that measure and analyze human body characteristics, such as e.g. fingerprints, eye retinas and irises, voice prints, facial patterns and hand dimensions, Such measurements are used normally for authentication and access control.  Biometrics applied to statistics is used to detect the reactions and their recurrence in front of defined stimuli, colors, shop windows, posters…

How we do it

The biometric sensors applied to retail are used to analyze the faces of people in the store to gather specific information on the morphology and the expressions of customers during their shopping experience.
